It is hard to believe that the first nine weeks will soon be over. The students are working hard and I hope you are reinforcing our efforts at home as well.

The attendance rate is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently. It’s difficult for the teacher and the class to build their skills and progress if a large number of students are frequently absent. In addition to falling behind in academics, students who are not in school on a regular basis are more likely to get into trouble with the law and cause problems in their communities.

Communication- Partnering with your child’s teacher can have a powerful impact. When you and your child’s teacher have a good relationship and communicate regularly, it’s easier to work together to help your child thrive in school.
Let us know what we can do to help you to be more involved and welcome at our school!
